I grew up around photography. My father is a hobbyist, and photography was always his mainstay. I loved sitting in his darkroom, watching him work, the images magically appearing on paper as he moved them from one tray of “water” to the next. I didn’t pick a camera up until high school but from then on I was hooked.

That was over 15 years ago and I’m still as passionate about photography now as I was then. Even more so, as I’ve grown in the field over the years. With every photo taken, my creative eye has grown exponentially.

Portraits can preserve memories, and creating an image of personality is where I excel. People in motion, caught in the moment. . . .this is what captures personalities, the essence of an individual. You, the client, pick the location and an activity you enjoy. It could be your wedding day, playing with your children in a park, or relaxing in your kitchen while creating a gourmet meal -- any activity that allows you to relax and enjoy life. Using a photojournalistic stance, I will create photos that showcase who you are.

Looking to bring out the personality of a place instead? I can do that. And if you prefer the classic look of studio portraits, I can certainly do that as well.
